The thermal insulation roof panel with 3 or 5 stiffening ribs can be used for all roofs with a minimum slope of 7%. The roof sandwich panel has a useful covering width of 1 m and a thermal insulation coefficient that meets the requirements of modern building construction.
The sparser bracing ribs (3 ribs, 500mm apart) give the product a modern look, while the denser bracing ribs (5 ribs, 250mm apart) provide extra rigidity. The insulated sandwich panel roof is a practical and economical solution for all new build roofs and renovations. The infill between the two steel armouring can be PUR foam, PIR foam or Rockwool.

Sandwich panel cutback
Sometimes the sandwich panels have to be cut back at the eaves or sloping panel joints, i.e. the lower armouring has to be cut up to the upper steel armouring (manufacturer) and the insulation core has to be removed on the cut part (customer). The cut back can be requested up to 50-200mm according to the production and we distinguish between right and left cut back.
Packaging
In order to optimise loading and transport, the roof panels are packaged by rotating the trapezoidal ribs. The pallets are wrapped in plastic film, while a spacer foam board is placed between them on the top/bottom at the factory.
The maximum weight of the pallets is 1-1.5T, and the number of panels is determined by the thickness and length of the sandwich panel.
Moving and storage
During handling and storage of the sandwich panel, the product can easily be damaged and therefore special care must be taken and the following instructions must be followed:
- Do not store more than 3 bundles on top of each other and always place a spacer (polystyrene block or board) between them
- In all cases, the sandwich panel should be stored in a slightly sloped position (with a slight slope of 5%) and the bundle should be laid on a rigid and flat surface with the bottom spacers to provide the slope. The reason for this: to prevent water from staying there.
- It is recommended to store the panel bundles under a cover or protect them from rain with a foil. Ventilation should always be provided.
- The protective foil on the metal armouring of the panel must not be exposed to direct sunlight and must be removed within 45 days of receipt.
