Anticondensation felt against condensation

An anti-condensation felt (optional) applied directly to the internal armouring of Metal roofing tile protects against condensation. The felt layer traps moisture, which then evaporates into the immediate environment as weather conditions change. In some cases, it is therefore not necessary to place a foil under the roof slats, as the felt coating prevents condensation from dripping off, thus protecting the roof structure.

Is the alarm ringing?

A frequently asked question. The installed disc is not to be thought of as a tensioned drum, as up to 10 screws per square metre are installed! So you can imagine that the knocking is not as much as you might first think! In fact, it can be further dampened if a felt coating is applied! Generally speaking, in roof spaces, at least 15-25 cm of insulation is installed between the ceiling and the slab, which absorbs 90% of the external noise, so there is no loud slab knocking at all.

Cheaper than traditional tiles?

In terms of unit price, it may be the same or cheaper/more expensive, but if you look at the complete construction - including labour - the Metal roofing tile may be more affordable.
