Vapour barrier film
A vapour barrier membrane should be installed on the inside of the roof insulation. It prevents vapour from entering directly into the insulation, which could lead to mould and fungal growth. It is recommended for double-ventilated roofs.

The membrane should be installed parallel to the gutter, leaving at least 15-20 cm overlap, and all overlap and fixing points should be sealed with special tape.
